  • TridentZ RGB without CPU?

    Hi,
I have 32gb of tridentz rgb ram at 3000mhz. I plugged them into my motherboard and connected the PSU. The RAM didn't light up but my Asus crosshair vi hero did. Keep in mind the ram was the only component on the motherboard. Is this a problem?

Doubt it. The memory controller is part of the CPU so the RAM wont be initialised until the CPU talks to it.
