  • 32GB 4 sticks of trident z RGB and ryzen

Trying to get the ram to run at 2933 because I could only get two sticks of 3000 and two of 3200 due to there being barely any stock and being bored of waiting. Will this cause me issues?

I have tried the two sticks of 3200 which boot fine at 3200 but the two sticks of 3000 won't boot at 2933 and I can get it somewhat stable at 2800 any advice?

    System:
Asus crosshair vi hero - bios: 1701
    Ryzen - 1700

    Thanks

Very possible since they are two different kits of RAM.

You can try 2666 to see if they can run together, and if so, move up to 2800. Generally it is not advised to use two separate memory kits in a single system.

Any chance I could RMA and exchange the 3000 kit for the 3200? It's not going above 2800 on its own no matter what I do and its not stable at 2800

Unfortunately, we can not RMA exchange for different models.

        Sorry about that.

Did you test each module to see if they have the same result? That will give us an idea of whether it is a bad stick, compatibility issue, or something else.
