  • G.Skill Ripjaws 4 DDR4-3200 C16 Test!

    Hello,

I tested this kit using a Asus Rampage V Extreme motherboard and a 5930K Cpu.

All results were obtained on normal air cooling.

For daily use DDR4-3300 C16 and DDR4-3200 C15 using standard voltage was a piece of cake even with tighter secondary and tertiary timings.

For benchmarks i managed to get:

    DDR4-2800 10-12-13-15-1T 1.72V

    DDR4-3000 11-13-14-15-1T 1.70V

    DDR4-3200 12-13-15-15-1T 1.67V

I can say these results speak for theirselfes and are top notch results as always from G.Skill:

Quick way to get these results.Start by loading Asus Rampage V Extreme ram profiles for your kit ic's,in this case Hynix S-Side.Load the 3000 1.5 V profile for example, adjust main timings and raise voltage till stable. Then you start lowering TRFC and other secondary timings till the limits.

Well I own the kit F4-3200C16Q-16GRK, this one is without the (D) at the end so I assume it's because didn't come with FANS. I have this kit running on the ASUS X99-Deluxe w/1801 bios. I have them running at 16-16-16-36-1T @1.360V. I did tray to run them @ 15-15-15-35-1T without any luck, with this last timing I did try 1.400V boot and no luck, so I didn't keep trying cause I didn't want to mess up the setup but down the road I might try again sometime.
