  • Imperial Guard build

    An outstanding graphics editor:

    Asus Sabertooth Z77 Motherboard
    Intel i7 3770k
    Corsair H100 water cooler
    AMD Fire Pro W7000 4Gb
Kingston 120 Gb SSD (Windows 7 Pro 64)
    Western Digital Black 4tb
    Raid 5, (Seagate 3tb x4) =9tb
NZXT HALE90 1000W 80Plus GOLD Certified Modular PSU
All squeezed into a NZXT 410 Red case with a little extra lighting for effect.

It just looks like one of those Imperial Guard characters from Star Wars. Is it ever fast!!!

I'll post a couple of pics tonight.

Yes, please show us some pictures. Nice build for 3d graphics editing, but you forgot to add some G.SKILL memory

And the psu = oversized much? (unless you plan to put one or two more Fire Pro in there^^)

Oops. I guess I accidentally deleted it when I edited the Hard Drives.

It has a quad kit of 32Gb Sniper 2133.

My wife's a Professional Photographer and a Star Wars fiend. I wanted to build the best photo editor possible. I'll be adding a Wacom tablet soon, unless anyone has a better suggestion?

      See picture below.

Once I find the build shots I'll put them up too.

You really cant go wrong with Wacom for a drawing tablet. The preferred size however varies, based on personal preferences and working style.

A Intuos5 medium is a somewhat safe bet, i guess

That's what I was thinking too. It has a pretty good software bundle with it too.
