  • DDR3 1333 Ripjaws CL9 (9-9-9-24) 1.5V AMD Mobo conflict ?

    I built the following rig:

    AMD Athlon II X3 450 3.2GHz Socket AM3 95w 1.5MB L2 Cache Processor
    G-Skill 4GB DDR3 1333MHz Ripjaws Memory Module CL9 (9-9-9-24) 1.5V
Biostar A770L3 Socket AM3 6 Channel Audio ATX Motherboard
Supports AMD Phenom II Series/Athlon II Series Processors, Hyper Transport Technology up to 5.2G, Supports AMD Cool'n'Quiet.

Each time I do a cold boot I get this message:

"DQS training failed on previous boot, reverted to slower Dram speed, press DEL to continue"

When I press DEL it takes me into the BIOS - where I can not find anything relating to DQS Training.

Could this be a GSKILL RAM - BIOSTAR MOBO conflict ?

    Might try resetting CMOS

Pls offer comments on support I provide, HERE, in order to help me do a better job here:

The memory should be plug and play, so test each one to see if they will work.
