Pimlico476 is getting a feel for overclocking
Default Opps do I need to swap these Memory sticks

So I had wish listed a Z77 setup at my local PC supplier and due to a long wait for the CPU I wanted I decided to switch to a 2011 setup.

CPU Intel Core i7 3820
MB Gigabyte GA-X79-UD3

Unfortunately I didn't look at my memory selection again and received my Z77 selection of

G.Skill Trident X F3-2400C10Q-16GTX 16GB (4x4GB) DDR

So question is will these slightly taller modules run in my rig or do I need to switch out for say,

G.Skill Ripjaws Z F3-19200CL11Q-16GBZHD 16GB (4x4GB) DDR3.

Cheers

You're fine, that kit will work great.

Thank you
