6gig to start then 12gig later on Rampage III w/ a 930

I put the other 6 GB in now I have 12 Total 6 X 2GB.
I have them running at about 1700Mhz 8-8-8 going to try to tweek them in the next few days.

When I first put them in and set bios to XMP it only shows 10 GIG after windows 7 boots up. Not sure what that is about that was trying to run them at 2006Mhz

Looking for the best Timeings and power for a RE3 930 DO setup.

multi = 21
mem frequency = 1960Mhz (or there abouts)
timing = try 8-9-8-24 2T and see if it will run - if not switch to 9-9-9-24 2T

cpu voltage = 1.30v (a little higher or lower depending on what it takes to get stable)
qpi/vtt = 1.48v
DRAM voltage = 1.65v

12 Gig working good!

Well Got it up to 1855Mhz stable Prime 95 120 min.

Will try to get a bit more out of it but for 12 Gig I'm happy.

12Gb 7-7-7-20

After Playing with some benchmarks I like this setup

I put QPI/DRAM at 1.40645
DRAM Bus at 1.643

this is stable will try to play with volts to lower them a bit but it runs like a champ and this is 12 gig.

So 4.2Ghz with 12Gb as 7-7-7-20 on a RE3 with a i7-930

I comes in stock but goes out very fast, I need to stop writting good reviews for it
Set up an autoNotify. then be ready to buy asap. also check a few times each day.

I'm thinking about moving to 24 Gig so I'll need 2 12 gig kits so I might sell the 2 kits I have interested?
