RMA- send all RAM pairs in?

Ive got 4 x 1 gb sticks of RAM and have had bluescreen erors which I have traced back to 2 sticks that show errors in Memtest, PC runs fine on the other 2. They've been in the same motherboard about 4 years with no problems until recently. I sent in a claim form yesterday, and have recieved an RMA number. The email that accompanied it says to send the ram in in pairs as dual channel kits must be matched to guarantee future stability. Is my RAM dual channel , do I need to send in all 4 sticks?

It is best because the older chips may not be fully compatible with the newer ones we send you.

Now to find some ddr2800 ram I can borrow for a few weeks !
