Phoenix Firmware 4.0 not found

Hi

I cant seem to update my Phoenix 120gb, model number (FM-25s2s-120gbp1)

I have used the SSD update tool and it says i have Firmware Rev 310a13f0 (i take it thats fw 3.1???) but when i try to load fw 4.0 (a or b) i get " firmware for this drive not found in package". Am i doing something wrong?

Is 310a13f0 fw 4.0??

Most phoenix ssd if not all has this firmware update problem. Admin said there will be a firmware 4.0c. The latest firmware that works now is rev 2.1. Admin, can you tell us when the firmware will be available?...

there's nothing wrong with your step, however, Firmware Rev 310a13f0 can't update to 4.0, we still can't find the reason and if you really want to be update to 4.0, you have to send it back for RMA.

Just try the new firmware 4.2A & B, firmware for my drive still can't be found. I am really disappointed. I guess I will stuck with firmware 2.1 forever...

as i mentioned in other thread, i tried a lot with no problems when upgrade form 2.1 to 4.2! you can send it back for RMA if you want to. sorry for the inconvenient.

Is there a reason why i cant upgrade to firmware 4.0 or 4.2 from 3.1 using the upgrade tool?

what is your firmware 3.1 version? Firmware Rev 310a13f0 cannot be upgrade so far..
