    hi as u can see i have bought 2x 32gb ddr4 3000mhz but i just cant get it to work on my asus x99-a/usb3.1 it refuse to boot with the xmp enable i just dont know what to do im running it now at 24000mhz but i really woud like to run it at 3000mhz
    by the way my cpu is i7 5930K power suppy is 1000watt
    gpu Ati R9 290

    Can you successfully POST at XMP settings with either kit installed by itself in the recommended slots?

    Maybe some slots are a bit weaker regarding higher memory frequencies...

      Should have purchased a 64GB kit so all modules are matching. Now you will need to try lower frequencies and work your way up to see what the two kits can do.

      Make sure you have the latest BIOS

      Also, make sure each kit is installed in same color slots.

          i tested the kits 1607A5000 with the xmp settings @ 3000mhz everything was auto in the bios and the latest bios. in windows i did a SuperPI it pass it however in hcmentest @ 70% i said memory error

            however i tested the whole 64gb @ 2400MHZ with memtest86 and so far no error
            take a look, i just need the right setting for it to run @3000mhz maybe system agent voltage how much?

              You need to trial and error test those values to see what is most stable. It is different for each CPU
