  • F3-1866C9D-16GXM 2X8 1866 with Intel DX58SO2 how to set work in 1866 ?

    Hello.

    my specs are :
Intel DX58So2 Motherboard - latest BIOS.
    i7 X990 Extreme CPU
    RipJaw-X DDR3 2x8 1866 memory (F3-1866C9D-16GXM) - that I just bought yesterday
    Ge-force 470 GTX

I just bought the memory a few days ago.
    It is xmp compatible,
my bios detects the xmp profile #2 for 1866, but the board wont boot when I select it.
only runs fine when I set it to 1333.

I saw that my Motherboard supports up to 2400 speeds,
does anyone knows if there is a way, maybe manually configure the memory or whatever.

i'm pretty stuck and frustrated and would love some help.

    thanks guys
    Dave.

    Did you manually set the RAM for DDR3-1866, tCL 9 - tRCD 10 - tRP 9 - tRAS 28, DRAM Voltage 1.50V?

Once you do this, post some pictures of BIOS and we can see if everything is set as they should be.

    Thank you

      hi,
I just did try to manually set it, and it looks fine .

I attached some pictures of my bios and a ram benchmark test with aida64,

please tell me if you have any more suggestions for me,

I am not an experienced overclocker, and im preety scared of damaging stuff

      also ,
what is the QPI/UNCORE Voltage , and what is the best setting for it ?

      thanks,
      Dave.

Everything looks pretty good. For QPI/UNCORE Voltage, you need to test for the lowest stable value. Once that is done, the system is ready to be used!

        Thank you
