    P6T Deluxe

The ASUS P6T Deluxe does not allow DRAM Bus Voltage of 1.65 volts - It's either 1.64 or 1.66 volts. My bios is currently version 1606

I was try EXACTLY this config with no result (system reboots at start)

I can't use your memory over 1834 MHz.

      Core i7 920 C0/C1
      ASUS P6T DeLuxe
      Windows 7 64 bits

      Thank you

Try increasing QPI/DRAM Voltage to 1.55V, your processor may be having a tough time reaching high enough to operate DDR3-2000.

If you have a good CPU Cooler, try increasing the CPU ratio setting to 18 to see if that will assist.

        Thank you

Have you tried command rate at 2N?

Pls offer comments on support I provide, HERE, in order to help me do a better job here:

I have tried with QPI 1.55v and 2N command and still not working.

The system boots but restarts after windows 7 starting screen.

May have to raise tRFC a bit and/or raise tRAS to 27

                No way, still not working.

                I tried:

                27 - 72
                27 - 88
                27 - Auto
                24 - 72
                24 - 88
                24 - Auto

                    Hello guys,

First of, thank you for your kits, I use them since I am DDR2 and I have always been impressed by the quality

I have just bought the following configuration :

                    ASUS P6T Deluxe v2 [Bios 0504]
                    Intel Core i7 i920 - D0
                    6GB GSkill Trident PC12800 6-7-6-18 - 1.65V - F3-12800CL6T-6GBTD
                    OCZ Vertex 120Go [F/W 1.30] (System)
                    Velociraptor 10000tr 300Gb (Data)
                    Video ASUS GTX285
                    Son Audigy2 ZS
                    Antec P183
                    Alimentation Corsair HX850

And I would like to know what are the recommended bios settings for this memory and this motherboard in order to run it @ 800MHz (CPU @ 20*200).

                    Many thanks in advance,

                    - Ben

                      Miquel,

The memory controller is embedded in your processor, you may have a processor that is unable to operate DDR3-2000. Post up screen shots of your BIOS and we'll see if we can tune some things.

                      lovingbenji,

BIOS settings would be same as above, but instead of 9-9-9-24, use 6-7-6-18. DDR3-2000 to DDR3-1600. And UCLK Frequency will only need to be 3200. It should look like this:

                      Ai Overclock Tuner - Manual
                      CPU Ratio Setting - 20
                      Intel SpeedStep Tech - Disabled
                      BCLK Frequency - 200
                      DRAM Frequency - DDR3-1600
                      UCLK Frequency - 3200MHz
QPI Link Data Rate - AUTO

                      DRAM Timing Control
                      CAS Latency - 6
                      tRCD - 7
                      tRP - 6
                      tRAS - 18
                      Command Rate - 1N

You will need to tune voltages accordingly.

                      Thank you

I changed the C0 cpu for a D0 and everything runs smoothly.

                            Thank you.

                              Hello everybody,

I am a new G.Skill memory user and I would like to use its full potential (the BIOS default setting is 1333 MHz for the memory. Also, I am not very experienced with OC.

                              My configurations is as follow:
                              ASUS P6TD Deluxe [Bios 0501]
                              Intel Core i7 975 Extreme Edition - Noctua NH-D14
                              6GB GSkill Trident DDR3-2000 PC1600 9-9-9-24
                              System : Intel X25-M Mainstream - SSD 80 Go 2.5" 9.5 mm MLC
                              Software: Raid 0 - 2 Western Digital VelociRaptor 300 Go WD3000HLFS
Data: Raid 1 - 2 Western Digital Caviar Black 500 Go
                              Crossfire 2 Sapphire VAPOR-X HD 5870
Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty Champion Series
                              Corsair Obsidian 800D
                              Corsair HX850W

The BIOS doesn't allow me to set the memory frequency to 2000 MHz and when I set a frequency higher than 1600 MHz the computer doesn't boot (error message display at the BIOS).

I will be grateful for any help about the BIOS settings in order to have some performance increase but keeping everything safe.
                              BR
