    It doesn't turn on.

I tried to just put one memory at a time and it still doesn't work.

Try with the sticks in slots 1-3 (from CPU, if no joy, try in 2-4...still nothing try 1 stick in slot 1, still nothing try in 2....if nothing there either, I'd pull the CPU and check primarily for bent pins and or if maybe any thermal compound on bottom of CPU or in socket.....If nothing there, I suggest tearing the system down and bench testing it, can find a base outline of this at my info thread here:

im sorry.. forgot to say that I'm currently using kingston 1333 2GB (2pcs) and it is working fine.

I just bought this memory because i want to upgrade to 8gb.

my motherboard only has 2 slots.. tried putting both at the same time, 1 at slot 1, 1 at slot 2, etc and it doesnt boot up.

Thinking of wrong mobo, do you have the latest BIOS? The CPU should be able to take the 1333 sticks without a problem....are the 2 sticks a set or two individual packaged sticks which could cause a problem with both, but either should boot and run by itself in slot 1

those are two individually packaged sticks.. and i tried just putting one at a time to one of the two slots (tried to put it on each slot one slot at a time) and it still doesnt work.

          currently setup at 9-9-9-24

It's possible you got a couple of bad sticks, though that sounds odd, can you try them in another system to see if they work there

Glad to hear it, the BIOSs are often a problem, the mobo makers rush boards out and very few mobo makers 'test' the DRAM at it's given specs, they just 'test' at mobo defaults, so even with slower freq DRAM the BIOS isn't really ready for 4 and 8 GB sticks
