  • Question OS Installation

I purchased Phoenix Pro Series FM-25S2S-120GBP2 drive last week and did a quick clone / re-image job on my computer to get it up and running within minutes with the same config, installs etc... as I had before. Btw, ahci was enabled in the bios and intel matrix drivers were loaded prior to cloning the previous drive. I decided that a fresh install is probably in order since I didn't like the way my partitions were setup. Since the drive has data on would a complete wipe of the disk be recommended (using GParted I guess) to regain the free space/performance? Or can I go ahead and install without any worries (after deleting current partitions ofcourse).

I personally would refresh the drive, wipe everything, then reinstall Windows. Not required though, not a big deal.

    Thank you
