  • Falcon I 64Gb detects itself as a 128gb drive?

Hi, I was going to update my GSKill Falcon I 64Gb to the newest firmware, so I put the jumper in the SSD, and went to another computer to install the firmware.

In my Disk Manager it showed to me like this? Is this somekind of Bug, or my SSD has really 128Gb?

    Thanks

    EDIT:

This shows that the SSD has 128gb...

But does this mean that I have a 128Gb drive but because of the firmware I only have 64Gb available?

Put in the jumper SSD will go into Engineering mode
Look like 128GB but the truth is SSD inside Flash ic have only 64GB
You can try update the FW for 128GB
But i believe this is not work

I have a friend that has two of these SSD's in raid0... Everytime he updates them, they only show to him as 64Gb, that's why I find these 128Gb strange...

          Thanks anyway :P

Wales is correct. Once the jumper is inserted the drive will show 128GB.
After you have upgraded the drive and removed the jumper, it will show 64GB again.

This situation has caused me a lot of greif but in the end I successfully upgraded my 64GB drive.
