  • Possible bad drive?

    Hello all,

Just had a quick question. I've had a new Phoenix pro 120gb SSD for about 3 weeks. A couple days ago I woke up to my windows 7 system running in repair mode. Since then the computer has been blue screening very frequently. The blue screens report a Bccode of 1a, 19, and 50.

Sometimes things work great but then it starts crashing and erroring out. My question is does this sound typical of a failing drive or more of a ram issue? Thanks for any help!

I just wanted to give a little update....I installed HD Tune Pro version 4.6 and under health the drive shows in yellow "Reallocated Sector Count" 'Current: 93' 'Worst:93' 'Threshold: 3'.

Is this something to be concerned about as well? Thanks!

For the Phoenix "Reallocated Sector Count" is not correct information Do not worry

      the problem is blue screening
Are you computer have go to sleep mode?
      Motherboard?
      BIOS set IDE or AHCI?
      IDE ATA Driver?

Known Issues with INTEL AHCI Driver computer into Sleep
Wake up when the system will fail to restart
Replacement Windows built-in driver can fix this problem

Do you by chance think that would still cause issues while the computer is booted up like normal? For instance it would just crash while browsing the web or just doing nothing. Thanks for the reply as well. I wasn't sure if more people were having similar issue.

          Hi Mikedaman34

Please don't worry about "Reallocated Sector Count"
This is just the software on hardware misjudgment
SSD will not have any problem in use
The next version of the firmware will fix this problem
