  • G.Skill RGB Software - Feature Request

Can you please add a feature to Save Profiles and auto load them at windows startup.
I imagine this wouldn't be difficult.
Just need to implement a "start minimized at windows boot" function and then a "load profile at startup" function.

This would help us that have the RAM setting back to default settings on every boot.

profile is saved, and it loads up when computer is turned on.

      Nah it doesn’t for me.
ram goes back to rainbow effect every boot.
i have to load the program and pick the effect I want.

Can you explain a bit more. Am I doing something wrong ?

after choosing your profile, do you click "apply" at the lower right portion of the software? after clicking that, you can now clock the software

Yes I click apply and the settings apply and work until reboot.

But after reboot it is back to the default rainbow setting.

What do you mean by “after clicking that, you can now clock the software” ?

For anyone stumbling across this, you need to set hid.exe in the program folder to run on startup, which runs the program minimised. Gaming.exe opens the program in the foreground. I agree a "start minimized at windows boot" setting in the app is the standard approach in all other hardware monitoring/control software and is far more intuitive.
