  • does gskill offer dummy rgb sticks?

i'm doing a new build with 2x16gb tridentz rgb 3200 (for amd) however i will likely be upgrading to the tridentz rgb NEO 3600 when it gets released but my main reason for posting was to determine if gskill made dummy sticks to fill the 2 other memory slots for full rgb lighting in that area. 2 sticks looks empty especially when they aren't in slots together. if there is such a thing can i be linked to them?

    thanks

for reference i have the x570 asrock taichi motherboard which is dual channel which means it works best with only using 2 memory slots, correct?

As far as I know, G.SKILL Tech stated there were no plans to release dummy modules the last time that question was asked. Dunno if that has changed, but I somewhat doubt it. So wih that in mind probably consider going with a 4x8GB kit instead.

Two modules is the recommended minimum for dual channel platforms, if you don't want to sacrifice performance. Four modules will also work in dual channel, the difference is one vs two DIMMs per channel. You can check compatibility of certain models with the ASRock X570 Taichi via http://gskill.com/configurator?page=1&model=1562636787

Both the http://gskill.com/product/165/326/15...600C16Q-32GTZN and the crazy CL14 model http://gskill.com/product/165/326/15...600C14Q-32GTZN look very promising.
