  • Can not set F4-3200C16Q-32GTZB to 3200

Some help, got F4-3200C16Q-32GTZB on MSI X470 Gaming Pro Carbon with Ryzen 7 2700X. When selecting XMP1 it reads 2933 and it works. But when I select XMP2 it reads 3200 but it does not stay with the setting and goes back the 2133.

How can I set to stay at 3200 with CL 16-18-18-38 1.35v.

    Thanks

Do you have the latest BIOS? Which slots do you have the RAM installed in? Try boosting SoC Voltage to see if it can help improve stability.

Yes the latest is install. This a four sticks so all slots install. As for the SoC voltage I can find it in the bios can you explain were it is or its location?
      Thanks

What did you set it to?

Check to see what it is running at for DDR4-2933, then make sure it is higher for 3200.

We do not have that motherboard rated capable just yet, so most likely it is a BIOS limitation and requires an update to potentially enhance capabilities.

Hi, I have the same problem. I have a PC with an MSI x470 gaming pro carbon motherboard, ryzen7 2700x CPU, RAM F4-3200C14D-16GVR and latest BIOS available. Even I can not make these RAM work at 3200mhz activating the A-XMP profile or Memory try It. The most I managed to have is 3066MHz. online I read that ryzen is a bit 'picky and that adjusting some sub timing you should solve and make work at 3200mhz RAM. do you know something?
