Help, would Trident Z (F4-3000C15D-32GTZ) work with Gigabyte X399 Designare MB?

Hi all,

Sorry but I hit buy too quickly when the Trident Z (F4-3000C15D-32GTZ) went on sale at the local store before checking the QVL list for my new Threadripper build with the Gigabyte X399 Designare motherboard. I've found out its not on the QVL, so would this memory work at reduced speeds or at all with AMD MB/Threadripper?

Should still work fine. Update to the latest BIOS and see what they can do. Let us know how it goes!
