  • DDR4 errors on multithreaded memtest86+ but not when tested sequentially

Running memtest86+ v5.01 configured to run the cores sequentially appears to be passing without issue. Previous passes running the test with multiithreading enabled yielded a number of errors. When multithreading was enabled, the errors occurred regardless of defaulting the voltages and timings or setting it the XMP profile. Rest of the system is default configuration.

How do you recommend i troubleshoot these errors?

Is it possible memtest86+ is not up to the task of testing the latest chipsets, etc? If so, what other software fdo you recommend for testing memory and system stability?

My current setup is as follows:

    EVGA X299 Dark, Bios V1.07
    Intel Core i9-7900X Processor
    G.SKILL TridentZ RGB Series 64GB (4 x 16GB) DDR4 3600 (17-19-19-39) 1.35v F4-3600C17Q-64GTZR
    EVGA SuperNova 1600 T2 PSU
    EVGA CLC 240 400-HY-CL24-V1
    Samsung 960 EVO Series - 250GB PCIe NVMe - M.2 Internal SSD (MZ-V6E250BW)
    GeForce GT 1030

    Thanks for helping

I've noticed crashes with memtest86 if multicpu/multithreading is enabled in UEFI mode. It worked fine if using BIOS/Legacy option. I don't know if your issue is the same, but something to keep in mind.
