  • Compatibility advice for the 32 gb tridentZ rgb 3600mhZ CL16/ 1.35V kit (8x4).

Hello there, i'm looking for some compatibility advice for the 32 gb tridentZ rgb 3600mhZ CL16/ 1.35V kit (8x4).
After roughly 11 months after making my PC, one of the four DIMM has gone, and actually produces freezes while gaming and bsod on my machine.

I'm actually thinking to replace the damaged one by buying a new kit of two ram, always 3600mhZ CL16/ 1.35V kit (8x2) .

    My question is:
can I merge two F4-3600C16Q-32GTZR DIMMs (wich is mine) with another two F4-3600C16D-16GTZR DIMMs?

    BTW my specs:

    Win 10 Pro
Asus hero Maxiums ix (latest bios version-1203)
    Intel I7-7700k
    Zotac 1080ti
    Samsung 960 EVO 500gb

    Thanks in advance.

You can try, but no guarantee on the results.

If one module is defective with no physical damage and warranty sticker is intact, you can simply replace it through G.Skill RMA:

The module is intact and present no physical damage at all, it is possible to send only the two paired dimm of the kit, or I have to send all 4 modules ?

Actually I need my machine daily and I don't have any other modules to replace in the meantime.
