Hello there,
So i've got a problem which i've seen before on some forums but i never found a solution to it.
I got 8 slots x 4GB of RAM so 32GB of RAM DDR4 but it is showing 2133mhz while it is 2400mhz, how can i turn it up to it's default? I tried to turn it up from EasyTune but it doesn't work. I remember i read from the forum the same problem for this guy and that he had probably got to do it from BIOS, the thing is that i have no idea how to do it! And i was wondering if you could also explain me how to upgrade the BIOS to the latest version first, that would be cool...
If i could get it work i was thinking in the near future of replacing this ram with a more powerful one ... like 2800 or so but i would like to know if i can get this to work first, and also im not sure how i could sell this ram for get a new one, as i need more RAM aswell...
My specs are (nothing overclocked);
i7-5960x
G.SKILL Ripjaws DDR4-2400mhz [(F4-2400C15Q-16GRK)x2]
Gigabyte x99 UD4
Let me know...
Thanks in advance,
Matt
