  • F4-3000C15Q-16GRR two kits together

    Hello again

My shop is offering me two F4-3000C15Q-16GRR kits to work together with XMP

According to the most specialty shops are the best kits of Gskill

My motherboard is the Gigabyte GA-X99-G1 Gaming WIFI with BIOS F8a

My CPU is the Intel Core i7-5930K.

I have no plans to overclock for now.

I will keep you informed if it works properly or not

remember XMP is designed for each kit, so if you use two kits, you may need to use manual settings and configuration

    Keep us posted!

My shop technician has struggled with the F4-3000C15Q-16GRR
      Let's try with just a F4-2666C15Q-16GRR G.Skill kit and F7 BIOS

What if I complain is how green are the BIOS.

Only I complain that the BIOS are still very green.

As touches something corrupts the system

              My luck ended with XMP.

I have two identical kits F4-2666C15Q-16GRR.
My motherboard is a Gigabyte GA-X99-G1 Gaming WIFI with BIOS F9x.

I installed Windows 10 and something happened that no longer allow me to use the XMP; BIOS was reset and only allowed me to work at 2133 values by default.

I went back to Windows 8.1 and is the same; I can not activate XMP.

I made a clear CMOS but problems persist.
The SSD turns on and off to reset and default values are loaded.

With older BIOS is the same.
BIOS F9x always worked well for me until August.

The default system is stable but when active XMP to restart or shut down the BIOS is reset.
I've given up; I will work to speed stock.
I never will mix two kits; lesson learned.

Gigabyte says it's not their problem if the motherboard works well at speed stock

                Have you tried DDR4-2400?

With only one kit installed XMP works fine?

                  I'll try one kit
