    MSI P55-GD55
    I3 540 @3.07 GHz
    OLD RAM: Corsaire TR3X3G1333C9 1,50v
    NEW RAM: Gskill F3-10666CL9D-8GBXL 1,50v

    Hello

Recently bought a pair of ram F3-12800CL9D-8GBXM. i Can't run them with my motherboard. I had contacted the support gskill which tells me that these rams are incompatible with my processor because low voltage 1.35v and xmp even i could see it in the bios.

I asked to my reseller for an exchange with the model F3-10666CL9D-8GBXL that the Gkill support recommendedand that was marked compatible on the gskill website with my motherboard MSI P55-GD55.

To my great surprize it still does not work same problem that i had with F3-12800CL9D-8GBXM. I reset the cmos, i try different configuration in the bios and nothing does.

I can enter in the bios only in single channel, dual channel , does not go until bios. I tested each stick of ram with memtest and none stick exceeded 11% of the test and the pc freeze. Windows wont start and Debian Linux Freeze when i exeed 1024Mb usage of ram.

When I return to my old sticks all work, Memtest, Debian and Windows.

    Can you help me?

Thanks in advance and sorry for my bad english i hope you can understand

    Regards

P55 requires double sided memory chips

This kit is guaranteed double sided:

Chips have changed over time. Most 4GB modules are no longer double sided due to manufacturing improvement.

            NS is single side

            You need NT
