I purchased this pair of 8 GB sticks through Newegg, and installed them to replace my current 1 GB stick. Since I did so, windows became highly unstable. At first, it crashed solely when I was playing a game, however after the second such crash windows itself was unable to fully boot. I was able to recover through a USB boot drive, and switched back to my old RAM. Once I switched back, the problems ceased. I found this RAM through AMD's list of confirmed compatible RAM, is there anything I need to do to make Windows stable?

    Thanks in advance!

Do you have the latest BIOS?

You may need to use a different model such as F3-10600CL9D-16GBNT
