    I tried to find posts with same setup as me, but everyone seems to be running two sticks.

    I know AMD FX chips support up to 1866 when it has 2 sticks Installed and 1600 when 4 sticks installed.

    What would be my ideal memory setup in BIOS for running:

    AMD FX 8350
    ASUS M5A99FX PRO R2.0
    F3-2133C10D-8GXM, which is 2x4G and I currently have 4x4G right now.

    should I set frequency at 1600 and tighten the RAM timing?

    I'm currently running my CPU at stock settings.

    First, make sure each kit is installed in the same color slots.

    For settings, you can try DDR3-1600 9-9-9-24 1.50V to see if that works.

    If no problem, you can try DDR3-1866 9-11-11-31 1.60V

    Need to determine whether the two kits are capable of reaching a certain frequency first, then you can lower timings from there.

      I ran the memory bandwidth benchmarking on Sandra, seems like it had no trouble passing the test. what else can I do to increase the performance?
