F3-14900CL8D-8GBXM won't post @ 1866MHz on MSI mobo

I am new to the world of overclocking and i am having issues with getting my g.skill ram to post @ 1866MHz rather than 1600Mhz.

RAM.......F3-14900CL8D-8GBXM
CPU.......AMD FX-8350
MOBO....MSI 990fxa-gd80v2

I could use some guidance, thanks for your help.

is the best advice I can give. It should work just fine with that setup, as always update your bios before you try anything new, this will definately give you your best chance of reaching what you want.
