    Hello,

I have the above specification and as I read here so far, my 16GB (4x4) can not be run with 1866MHz as the Vishera has a to weak memcontroller.
But the specs of my Snipers say they should run with 9-10-9-28, but when I look up the specs in speccy or ET6 it shows me 11-11-11-28-39.
When I try to set a X.M.P. Profile in BIOS, the PC wont boot but tells me it has a boot failure and resets the RAM to 1600. But in the BIOS I cant find a category to set the 9-10-9-28 values.
Can anyone tell me what I m doing wrong?
And is this failure in booting when using X.M.P. Profile due to the CPU?

Yes most likely the boot failure on xmp settings is cpu related. Very few (read none) vishera cpus can handle 4x4gb of 1866 mhz. However you should be able to manually set the speed to 1600 mhz, and manually enter the timings to those you listed. You actually should be able to get 8-9-8-27 or 28 out of that kit at 1600 mhz but try rated specs first then tune them down one number at a time.

Just look for the dram timings, or dram settings and enter these values as the first 4

If you really want to try for 1866 use the fx/a series part of this link http://www.gskill.us/forum/showthread.php?t=11742

XMP works for two sticks. With four set 'em manually.

        tCL 9 - tRCD 9 - tRP 9 - tRAS 28

        Don't forget to raise CPU-NB Voltage +0.1V
