    Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-P67X-UD3-B3
    Memory: F3-14900CL9D-8GBXL
    CPU: Intel i5-3570

Admittedly, this memory is not on the official approved list for this motherboard. However, it is on the list for the Gigabyte GA-P67A-UD5-B3 which is very close (see http://www.gigabyte.us/products/comp...pids=3762,3815)

In any case, when I do try to post, the system shuts off after 3 seconds without any beep codes. When I pull out the memory, I get beep codes.

I've validated the power supply and graphics card in another system. Can't test the processor.

This motherboard is not listed at all on the G.Skill website. Any help appreciated.

    Thank you.

Try initially w/ 1 stick, if you can get to the BIOS ensure you have the latest BIOS. Am wondering if you even have a BIOS that will work with the 3570, that update came fairly recently so quite possible your mobo didn't come with the 3570 enabled BIOS. If one stick doesn't get you in, then if you have another DDR3 stick or can borrow one, try that. If no joy there, it's prob the BIOS and you'll need to flash it to the latest version or at least the version that supports the 3rd Gen CPUs. Possibles are if you have a 2nd gen CPU, can borrow one, take it to a shop, or contact GB, tell them you bought based on the advertising it supports the 3570, but doesn't have an updated BIOS (F9)...see if they will crossship anew mobo with the latest BIOS, to meet their advertising claims
