I'm a with ram but got it to work easily
System:
Asus m4a79xtd evo
Phenom ii x4 965
16g g skil
Radeon sapphire 5770 x2 xfire
Cool master v8
kingston hyper x fan (barely fits due to v8
Well my issue was with getting the timing and 1600 to show. I followed step 2 and upped cpu n voltage to 1.225. Runs stable haven't had time to run men test but will today after work. Anyways timing is fixed was reading 11-11-11 got it to 9-9-9.
Was confused about the 1600 since and overdrive was only reading at 800.like I said I'm a noob 800 is 1600 with ddr3. Works great g skill techs replied to my email in less than a day.
Would highly recommend people up grading ram to go with a full kit instead of a few here and there.
I'll update more info after mem test.hope this helps someone with same build
