Hi there, enjoy the forum, have been reading up for a while. Very interesting.
Had F3-12800CL9D-4GBRL put into my custom built computer. Memory is stable at 1650MHz with timings 9-9-9-24 1T with no voltage increases. Passed memtest86+ in BIOS mode (2 passes) and Prime95 (blends) for 1 hr (more testing tonight). Is it worth increasing the voltage (maybe to 1.6v) and seeing if I can lower timings? Would it be worth it? Question two: can you recommend a freeware program that can benchtest my memory. I may lower the clock speed above and tighten timings. Again, is this worth doing before I waste my time fiddling further? Many thanks in advance. Specs below:
Mem: F3-12800CL9D-4GBRL
Mobo: GA P55 US3L
CPU: i5 750 OC to 3.46GHz
OS: Win 7 64 bit.
PS: Well chuffed with your memory. Cheers! Will recommend.
