  • i5 750 + P7P55D PRO - Memory Recommendation

    Hello!

I'm planning to buy some 2x2GB DDR3 Memory from G.Skill.

I pretend to use my i5 750 at stock speed (2.66Mhz) and maybe, do a little OverClock in the future.
And most of the time, I will keep my computer turned ON (Like, 24/7). So, I would like a memory with good perfomance and stable.

    1333Mhz or 1600Mhz?
    Lower CL value, better?
I've read that i5 750 supports only 1333Mhz. How can I make my memory to run with 1600Mhz? (In case If I buy a 1600Mhz instead of a 1333Mhz)

    Thanks!

You simply have to set BCLK to 160, 160 x 10 memory multiplier = DDR3-1600

DDR3-1600 should be fine. Simply enable XMP Profile and all should be set for you. The lower the CL the better.

    Thank you

      Which model do you recommend?
(I look for stability and perfomance )

      Thanks for the answers!

These will give you great performance and stability.

        http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-321-_-Product

Just by setting to 1.50V, these can operate DDR3-1800. That is if you want to overclock =) If you keep these at DDR3-1600 1.35V, your CPU will be very cool since it is special low voltage memory, but still maintain fast performance.
