I am thinking of maybe getting a core i7, and the board I may get is the MSI P55-CD53. I need to know if the ripjaws 4gb ram kit works on it, and what kind of overclock I can expect using the motherboards built in auto OC. The ram is Ripjaws F3-12800CL9D-4GBRL. Would I be able to run 8 gigs later. and if this ram isn't good, what ~$100 4gb model would be better? Thanks.

The G.Skill memory package you have selected should work fine on that MSI motherboard. If you enable the XMP profile, that will be fine, but if you are talking about the auto detecting overclocking feature.. I would not recommend it. Simply manually overclock it via BIOS. I would suggest learning about it before attempting it. This system is stock form will already be pretty fast.
8GB should be fine, but you may need to increase the memory controller voltage.
