  • Intel + GSkill F3-12800CL9T-12GBSR2

    Hi all,
I have a desktop PC with an Intel Board x58 (DX58S02) and an i7- 950 (1366LGA). I bought a triple channel GSkill F3-12800CL9T-12GBSR2 according to recommendations of the official guide through the site of GSkill. The BIOS setting of 9-9-9-24 2T and 1,25V can not be acceptable. The only acceptable and working setting is 7-6-6-19 1T and 1,5125V.
I am wondering why this is happening and if I have to send them back through RMA option on site.
I am looking forward to hearing for your thoughts.
    Regards,
    George

    Hi George

Do you have the latest BIOS?

Try a slightly higher Voltage like 1.45V to see if 1600 can be stable. That motherboard is not good for ultra low voltage.

      Hi again,
I ve done some tests with the suggested voltage but it did not work. I have also installed the latest version of BIOS.
I see no reason for not working.
Do I have to enable the RMA process?
A brand new product will fix the issue or this RAM module is not suitable for my motherboard?

      Regards,
      George

Did you try one module at a time to see if one can work?
