Intel DQ57TM and F3-10666CL9S-4GBRL

F3-10666CL9S-4GBRL should be compatible with DQ57TM. I bought 2 modules of 4GB each and tested this without luck. The BIOS runs fine. I can boot through grub into memtest, but after about 1s of testing the machine reboots. Same when I try to boot into an OS.
I tried all combinations, with only one module in any slot, 2 modules in dual channel configuration or in combination with the previous modules (4 x 2GB). Results are always the same.

Are these supposed to be compatible?

My goal is to upgrade to 16GB.

Quick amendment: CPU is Intel Core i5 CPU 650 @3.20GHz
