  • System crash w/ F3-19200CL11Q-16GBZHD (ran Memtest86+ & MemTest86)

Recently, when launching some pretty resource intensive games I've noticed that my system would sometimes completely shut down and then reboot itself. There isn't even time for a system error dump. I do not overclock my system.

The last thing I suspected was the memory until I said screw it and ran the latest versions of Memtest86+ and MemTest86. When running Memtest86+ it ran for a bit and then the system shut down and reboot itself. That's not good. I then ran MemTest86, which didn't crash, but reports a ton of errors after running it for over 12 hours.

Do you have the latest BIOS?

Typically you should test one module at a time to see if one is bad causing problems.

Seems like at least one is causing issues, so send them in for RMA exchange:

Yes, I have version 4901 of the Asus R4E BIOS installed and it's the latest. I also tried resetting the BIOS to defaults and still receiving MemTest86 errors.

I've submitted an RMA. Can you please review it? I'm hoping GSKILL offers a cross ship option.

      Thank you.
