  • Asrock 990FX Killer & F3-2400C11D-16GAB - not stable

Bought new G.Skill F3-2400C11D-16GAB, and pairing it up with my AMD rig comprising of an AsRock 990FX Killer MB and an FX-8370E. I tried using the XMP however it is unstable, and seemed to not recognize some of the profile numbers, as well as not able to manually put in a few numbers. (said they were invalid).

Any ideas getting these to run at 2400?

currently running @ 2133, 10-11-11-30 2T stable at 1.5v. It's adequate, but still annoyed they aren't running as advertised.

        Did you boost CPU-NB Voltage?

            CPU-NB Voltage, not NB Voltage.

            +0.1V ~ +0.2V is usually a sufficient amount

Dont see that specifically named voltage.

              I have:

              CPU Voltage Ofset
              NB Voltage
              HT Voltage
              CPU VDDA Voltage

May be NB or HT Voltage for that motherboard. Check user's manual to see if there is any information.
