  • [SOLVED] setting timings issue F3-12800CL7D-2GBPI, EVGA 790I

I just bought 2 F3-12800CL7D-4GBPI from newegg.com for a total of 8 gigs of ram

I have a evga 790i motherboard currently a q6600 cpu installed into it.

When i install all 4 memory chips the timings won't run at 7-7-7-18 @ 1.9v

if i only install 2 of the memory chips the computer would turn on at those timings and voltage. but when all four of the memory chips are installed the computer won't even turn on with those timings.

Please increase SPP to 1.4v and MCP to 1.6v.
FYI, nvidia doesn't recommend to run 4 sticks over DDR3 1600. but in this case, your system is running under DDR3 1600, which should be ok
