I want to upgrade the memory to my computer. But unsure what is compatible. I found some information on the Asus website i pasted below.
Asus P5G41C-M LX motherboard
2 x DIMM, Max. 8 GB, DDR3 1333(O.C.)/1066/800 Non-ECC,Un-buffered Memory
2 x DIMM, max. 8 GB,DDR2 1066 (O.C.) / 800 / 667 MHz Non-ECC, Un-buffered memory
Dual Channel memory architecture
"*DDR3 and DDR2 memory can not be used simultaneously
Use DDR3 memory modules on the black slots and DDR2 memory modules on the blue slots."
The Memory/Device Support PDF shows some memory, not much. None of them are available to buy anymore.
So is the one of the two kits below compatible?
G Skill 8G(2x4G) DDR3 1333MHZ PC3-10666 CL9(8GBXL) or
G Skill 8G(2x4G) DDR3 1333MHZ PC3-10666 CL9(8GBRL)
