Best ram for my pc

Hello everyone, i want to buy a new pc and i have a big doubt about ram
The motherboard is an asrock z87 extreme 4 and a intel 4770k.

I have 220$ to spend in the ram, but when i try to learn about ram i think i am more confused.

In few reviews says that in 4770k the best ram is a 2133mhz, but why is better than 2400 for example? 2400 cl10 is faster than 2133 cl9 i think, is that correct?

I want to buy the best ram for this pc for 220$, i am not an expert in overclock so i need the most powerfull ram for the money.

Can you recomend me some ram?

I would honestly go with this kit, 16gb of 2400 MHz memory for $173 (well under your budget for ram)

F3-2400C9Q-16GTXD is maybe a slightly better kit (CL9 2400 MHz) but it is 4 sticks and will put a bit more stress on the IMC shouldn't hurt anything but its up to you which way you want to go. I can't find that kit anywhere for normal prices its listed @ $204 on newegg but out of stock, and its listed for $288 on amazon so I wouldn't go that route.

I only suggested the second kit b/c typically its about the same price as the other one, just pretty much out of stock everywhere so the prices are pretty high right now. If you could have found it for a good price I would have gone for it but you won't be disappointed with your F3-2400C10D-16GTX kit.
