Memory Help Z87 Chipset

I purchased the Asus Maximus Hero VI (Chipset Z87), I7-4770K(Haswell LGA1150) and G.SKILL Sniper Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1866 (PC3 14900) Desktop Memory Model F3-1866C9D-16GSR. http://www.ncix.com/products/?sku=78...ture=G%2ESkill

I’m still waiting for the parts to arrive...

I notice that the G.SKILL Sniper Series 16GB says:

• Compatible with Intel LGA1155 and AMD APU/AM3+ platforms.
• Optimized 1.5V low voltage.
• Intel XMP support for 2nd and 3rd Generation Intel Core Processors.

Will this RAM work with my setup?

I’ve seen the new G.SKILL Trident X Series and its advertise for the 4th Generation Intel Core Processors & Z87 platform. Is there a difference between the two? Now I’m worried that I purchased the wrong Memory modules.

This sniper kit has been released prior to Intels 4th Gen, so thats why LGA1150 is not mentioned in the description.
