    32 GB

for 16gb, I figure it will only run at regular specs so there is no need for performance ram in that board.

All 3 of those kits should be plug and play, if the link you sent is actually for the exact board you have.

yes it would but its best not to mix kits. Your best bet is to get what you want up front. I have a question before you decide on a purchase, can you get into the bios on that board? and can you alter timings/voltages/ram speed in that bios? I actually just realized it was a X79 mobo. look and see what your bios looks like and what you can alter.

If you want 32 gb just buy the ares kit. I doubt any company sells 32gb of "standard" 1600 mhz memory. so thats why i have the bios questions. We can get you "fast" 1600 if you can change some settings.

i did not want to mix kits as well
          yep x79 motherboard
          no memory setting in bios.
current memory is 2x4gb and 1x2gb chips running at 1600mhz in tripple channel.. i want quad channel with 32gb running at 1600mhz..

Okay dont' hold me to this but I think 1333 running a 9-9-9-27 is the same as 1600 running at 11-11-11-28 like you are now. It shouldn't help to run 1600 since you're stuck at stock speeds. I'd just buy the ares, they are actually cheaper and it is a 32gb kit that will run in quad channel from the beginning.

The issue is your computer will (likley) defualt to 11-11-11-28 which is what you have currently, and some memoy is fine like this other memory doesn't like it. That's why I was trying to stick to something I knew would work. It "should" work but I dont' think it will be any faster. the 1333 is much cheaper and I think with the timings it will run at there will be no difference. Buy whichever you wish, I'm just telling you what I'm pretty sure will be the outcome.

1333 at tighter timings should give the same perfomance as much looser timed 1600 mhz

All DDR3 ram is capable of single, dual, tri, and quad channel use. its all about the motherboard and number of sticks you have. 2 kits of that will give you quad channel, but it also may not work together at all. I suspect with that being their "value" ram they just throw whatever chips they have into them that won't run faster which would make it tougher to find 2 kits that will play nice together in a quad channel setup. Thats why I recommended what i did. Any of the setups "should" work if you're willing to risk having to do some returns try that 1600 set of ares. You have a working computer right now and can always go back to your current memory if what you buy doesn't work, retun them and buy somethign else :P

Two of the Aegis kits should be great.

                      Thank you

no gurantee here but you "should" be able to run those at the same 11-11-11-28 timings at 1600 in quad channel if you so choose, might can go a bit tighter, but thats not a gurantee.
