  • Installing Identical RAM, F3-10666CL9D-4GBNS as opposed to F3-10666CL9D-4GBPK

    Hello,

I have an ASRock 970DE3/U3S3 with an AMD Phenom II X4 955. The mobo manual lists F3-10666CL9D-4GBPK as being compatible. The closest thing I could find is
    F3-10666CL9D-4GBNS.

The only discrepancy being 4BGNS as opposed to 4GBPK, which I don't know what the difference is.

    Can I use F3-10666CL9D-4GBNS?

OK, I got it! I found some F3-10666CL8D-4GBRM that'll work!

The NS and PK are different models of DRAM (different ICs) and the Ripjaws you got are yet another model (and the newest of the three), those are good sticks, think you'll be happy with them...Enjoy!
