Hello, Im new on this forum and firstawall I want to apologize if I opened same problem becouse Im in hurry and have big problems with my new PC.
Last year I bought 2x2GB G. Skill 1066Mhz DDR2 F2-8500CL5D-4GBPK memory modules.
Then I have MSI P45-NEO2-FR and Intel E5200 and when I install that memory after 2 months two (green) of four memory slots died suddenly.
Last month i bought new motherboard /Biostar TA790GXBE/ and processor /AMD Phenom II x4 965 AM3 - C3/.
When I assembled my new PC and install Win 7 64 bit in two days I recieved about 20 BSOD-s.
I recieved Bsod-s mostly when Im playing games after 10 minutes or less, and when I work in Windows.
Mostly is dxgmms1.sys, Ntfs.sys, tcpip.sys, nvlddmkm.sys etc.
When i bought Biostar TA790GXBE motherboard I checked and its seems that this RAM supports AMD 790 chipset.
Then I flashed Bios on motherboard on 78DGA902.BST DATE 09/02/2009, and that doesnt resolve my problems with BSOD-s.
Then I run memtest version 4.00 and in four atempts they suddenly stopped on random progress and cant finished testing.
Then I remove G.Skill memory and put 2x1GB Transcend DDR2 667Mhz and all working well, so I assumed there is problem with G. Skill memory compatibility with Biostar TA790GXBE.
Is there anything I can do with this memory modules, Bios adjustments?
Please I need help.
DEFAULT BIOS RAM SET IS 800Mh 5-5-5-15 Unganged.
I have this PC configuration:
BIOSTAR 790GXBE (Bios update, supporting C3 versions)
AMD PHENOM II X4 965 - C3 version
2x2GB DDR2 1066 MHZ G.SKILL F2-8500CL5D-4GBPK
GAINWARD 250 GTS 512 DDR3
WESTERN DIGITAL 500 GB SATA
SILVERSTONE 600 W
P.S. Excuse me for my bad English...
