    Cuurent specs:

    Abit AW9D-Max
    Intel E6600 @ 3.2 GHz
    2GB G Skill F2-6400PHU2-2GBHZ 4-4-4-12 1:1
    EVGA 8800 GTX
    Western Digital Caviar SE16 WD5000AAKS 500GB
    OCZ GameXstream 700W PSU
    X-FI Xtreme Gamer
    Zalman 9700
    Cooler Master STC-T01

    Very happy with current memory. Using 64bit Vista Ultimate and would like to upgrade to 4GB or 8GB. Can you advise on what sticks would be best for me?

    we'd recommend you to choose F2-6400CL4D-4GBPK/PI
    it's almost the same spec with yours except for the capacity

      Would I be asking for trouble by using 8GB instead of 4GB?

        975x chipset is not good enough to run 4 sticks of 2GB module with 1:1 DDR2 800 CL4
        but 2*2GB are just fine

            Would these work instead of the F2-6400CL4D-4GBPK?

            F2-6400CL4D-4GBPI

            Specs look similiar.
