  • F1-3200PHU2-2GBNS & P4R800-V Deluxe Issue

Model of the motherboard: Asus P4R800-V Deluxe
    Model of the memory: F1-3200PHU2-2GBNS
    Model of the CPU: P4 - 3.0C

What is the problem? example: no boot, blue screen, reboot...etc.
~ If I use one stick in any slot, there is no issues, no random crashes. Each stick clear in Memtest86+

~ If I install in A1 and B1 (dual channel mode) then I receive random crashes in WinXP and many failures in Memtest86+

BIOS setting change? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Update: F1-3200PHU2-2GBNS & P4R800-V Deluxe Issue

If I change my BIOS to DDR-333 instead of DDR-400, both sticks run in the system without crashing. What is the problem then??

I do not understand your response. I posted that when I set the computer to DDR 400 it crashes. Can you tell me the manual settings for:

            CAS Latency:
            TRCD:
            TRP:
            TRAS:

            Thank you.

Your memory timings are correct at:

              CAS Latency: 2.5 Clocks
              TRCD: 3
              TRP: 3
              TRAS: 8

What you are lacking is setting the memory to 400 and increasing the memory voltage to 2.75V.

Once that is complete, everything should run just fine.

              Thank you

When I change the BIOS to those settings, I post and load the OS, but crash heavily and do not pass memory tests. Computer runs great in DDR-333 mode instead of DDR-400

My voltage settings has to be 2.7 or 2.8. 2.75 is not available.

                JEDEC in CPU-Z says 2.5, 3, 3, 6

So, again, is it the MOBO or the memory?

Try each stick with the rated specifications. Each should have no problems on its own.

                  Thank you

I have tried each stick on their own at the rated specifications you have given. The s/n: 8301000092923 will not post on the stated specification. JDEC in CPU-Z and the sticker on the memory states CL2.5-3-3-6, why am I setting this memory to 2.5-3-3-8? I would like an RMA for this memory. Please advise. Thank you.
