    i dont actually have this put together as of yet..
    right now it has an 8150 + F3-17000CL9D-8GBSR
    + other stuff 7770 xfx dd,hauppauge hvr2250,sb xfi plat pro elite,sum bluray burner,128gig ssd,1.5tb hdd
    and the cpu cooled by swifty 655vario,swifty minires,2black ice sr1 480,s....
    @4.2 1600@10 10 10 27 39 1t

    my question is will i be able to see the same or better performance from the 16gig kit?

    In general, you should see better performance if the DRAM is utilized correctly, i.e. jumping from 8 to 16GB, initally might set up a RAM DISK with 4 GB of the DRAM and redirect temp, cache, etc to the Ram Disk for a performance boost. Can also improve the performance by utilizing the full freq of the DRAM - you show these as a current set of 2133/CL9 but being used at 1600/CL10 and with an 8150. The 8150 should, theoretically be able to runm the two sticks at 1866 anyway and with those sticks, the Snipers at a CL9 or maybe even CL8....so you could gain performance in the bandwidth by going 1866 and more gain by lowering the CL to 9 (or if it can handle CL8 at 1866, even more that way). Would think at it's current 1600/10 should be more on the order of 1600/8 or even 7. A 2400 set, to me would be overkill if going to 16GB, I'd look for an 1866/CL9 set that is 2x8GB

      not too bad for 16 gig
