Yes, ask the RMA dept. to keep the other half of your kit so you can maintain a matching set.

RMA question
Given that I have to RMA all 4 modules, which would leave me computerless, can I RMA 2 at a time? so Ive always got a working PC

Send them in to see if a new kit works better:

Have you tried 2 or 3 modules to see if it can do 3200?

Ok I tested it with just 1 stick in at a time.
XMP was enabled in bios. Booted. Checked Bios. Ram reading 3000mhz.
Tested each stick individually with no problems.
Feeling optimistic, I put them all back in and Bam, not booting again.
PS latest bios etc installed.

Do you have the latest BIOS?
Test one at a time to see if each can pass XMP

G.Skill Trident Z RGB XMP fail.
Hey guys, I have a Intel Core i7 7700K , ASUS ROG Strix Z270F Gaming Motherboard
G.Skill Trident Z RGB F4-3000C15Q-32GTZR 32GB (4x8GB) DDR4 ram.
Ever since day 1, whenever I enable XMP the PC doesnt boot. I have to manually turn it off then the bios prompts me to enter.
all my components support xmp. Any idea why its failing?Tags: None
