What is the warranty policy of G.Skill ram purchased from an individual as opposed to from an actual retailer? I have the opportunity to pick up some Ripjaws X F3-12800CL8D-8GBXM for $60 per set of 2 x 4gig from an online forum that are supposed to be BNIB. My only hesitation is that they wouldn't be covered under warranty if they would go bad in the future.

Sorry for the delay, the warranty information you received is correct. As long as the memory is not physically damaged and the warranty sticker remains intact, the memory will still be covered under the manufacturer lifetime warranty.

I have availed myself of the great G.Skill lifetime warranty. I was given some RAM by a friend which errored in my system.
They were out of the specific RAM I returned and they sent me some faster RAM, which was nice of them.I'm sorry Dave, I can't do that.
